Privacy Policy

This policy explains what topstartup.lol (topstartup.lol) collects and why. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number. Stripe sends us your email, the amount, and the startup details you enter at checkout (name, tagline, X handle). See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Public listing: the startup name, URL, tagline, handle, amounts paid, and timestamps are public by design, shown on the site, in share cards, and on /feed.
• Click counts: when a visitor clicks a listing we record a timestamp against that listing. We do not store IP addresses or identify visitors.
• Hosting logs: Vercel processes request logs (IP, user agent) for security and operations under its own policy.

What we don’t do

• No cookies, no accounts, no tracking pixels, no ad networks, no selling or sharing data with third parties beyond Stripe and Vercel.

How we use your email

Only for transactional messages about your listing (payment receipts from Stripe, and notices when you are outranked or win a belt). You can opt out of non-receipt emails by replying “unsubscribe”.

Retention and your rights

Listing and payment records are kept indefinitely because the public ledger and Hall of Champions depend on them. You may request deletion of your email or removal of your listing (payments are not refunded) by contacting us. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR to access, correct, and erase personal data; California users have equivalent rights under CCPA.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.
